Though the witch ran, she was much too powerful for Murph and his party. It was her living shack that really did it though, before most of us had a chance.

Obituary:

Murph was the youngest of 5 children of a minor noble in Faerun. his eldest brother was the heir, the second eldest brother went to become a knight, his 2 older sisters were married off. Murph was given a choice to go to into the priesthood or work under the sheriff and become a forest ranger to protect his fathers forests. Though he wasn't the smartest boy, he took to the outdoors. However, with the gruff outdoorsmen Murph developed a bad gambling problem. He wound up in trouble on a few occasions and even gambled away some small family heirlooms, which was when his father told him to leave, and return when he had found his honour. Murph left, and soon received a strange note that enticed him. He entered the realm of Barovia, where he met his companions and found some success. though nothing was good in this world he found some strength within and it was with bold determination that he and his companions (he would hesitate to call them friends) kille izek stasni and the lady Vochter. They installed a new governing body in Valiki and continued foolhardily into the den of a witch.
