Obituary:

Tobold first came to Keycliffe after things got a little too warm in Altneyn. He'd made a good life there after having to leave Iriadhon in a hurry ten years prior, and hoped the proactive vacation would allow him to return at a later date - and possibly discover the fate of his former mentor and partner, Erdan Brightwood.

In Keycliffe he joined up with a group of adventurers and delved, discovered, killed and stole with them for several months before they took a job rescuing a group of children from a gang of lycans. Tobold stumbled upon the gang sooner than he expected and he and his party found themselves fighting for their lives in the basement of an inn against an invisible mage. He managed to save one of his fellows before trying to stop the mage from escaping and received a cone of cold to the face for his determination. Stuck amidst lava tubes that were breaking open, the party was forced to flee and leave Tobold's frozen corpse to thaw out and eventually melt, along with the bag of holding that held the party's gold and goods.
