Ventured to a new land, only to be sacrificed to a guild of assassins.

Obituary:

One of the inhabitants of the Nexus Isles, Mortimer arrived upon a mythical island as a simple human with no memory of where he came from. During his time there, he was abducted by a mysterious cult in a mountain and turned into a Frostling: a humanoid creature with powers of ice and shadow. Along with some others, he took down the fearsome Nexus Hydra and left the island to explore far away lands. He died after being abducted by an underground society of assassins and was sacrificed to their leader.
