Obituary:

Laucian was new to the adventuring life, having left his university only a month before. He set out to figure out why he suddenly lost his memory each morning, something he might not even have realized had he not woken up to a diary of what he did each day. After joining with an adventuring party, he learned that several of them might have information on his curse. In the middle of the night, he sent a ferret familiar to peek through their belongings. Needless to say, when they noticed a ferret squeezing under their door, they were understandably annoyed, and went to interrogate the only possible suspect: Laucian.  He tried to weasel himself out of the situation, being terrified of others finding out his secret, but time after time, the 10 second pauses before his blatant lies gave him away. Tensions rose, fists were thrown, and the party Warlock's Arms of Hadar tore away Laucians soul. On the bright side, the misty pink tentacles that come from the wall and pulled his corpse into it *did* give some hints as to what cursed him in the first place.
