Epitaph:

Slain by the bird-folk, whom he loved to slay for sport.

Obituary:

Once, on a normal summer day while flying the airship. Team Xalvyn was approached by some friendly-looking bird men. 

Xalvyn, being the villain that he is, threw a fireball in their ranks. It burned all their feathers to a crisp. Those not dying there on the spot, would fall for miles to their death.

After this, Xalvyn named himself; Bird-slayer, Burner of Feathers, and many other titles. And changed his life goal to destroying all bird-like creatures in the world. 

However, a few days after the Maegera incident, the bird-folk took note and figured Xalvyn would use these new flames to burn the skies. So, in this deciding moment, all the bird-clans banded together. They charged at the airship, and in one final attack, brought it down and slew Xalvyn. They mounted his head on the largest spike they could find, this to initiate the ritual of binding. This ritual would keep Xalvyn's spirit forever trapped in limbo.
