Obituary:

Having stolen a odd sword from one of his targets he set out to use it, finding out that it got more powerful by stealing the souls of those struck down by his blade, the first one he stole, a necromancer that put him into a comatose, his paladin companion set out to find a way to revive him by getting the bud of an ancient tree. William, once awoken was filled with an urge to steal more souls for the sword, gathering more than anyone would like to think about, the sword became more powerful than William could have controlled, yet he looked for more powerful souls to steal. The paladin, having found out what was happening was forced to strike his companion down after a hard fought battle against an evil king, fearing William would follow the same path.
