Taken by the wrath of the revenant of someone he once called an ally. He died protecting his friends, and the revenant died soon after Dave fell. (literally 1 turn after... really?)

Obituary:

Dave Manlyman was a very manly man. As the vanguard of his travelling party he charged into fights sword and board style and knocked many opponents to the ground with his shield before unleashing a torrent of attacks unto them The shield he once beared was a magical artifact called the shield of Agamemnon, which he dubbed shield of Dave after a short ceremony where he buried his old shield.
