Obituary:

As Gren slips from the world of the living his life flashes through his mind. 
He remembers his days as a child in the elven lands, going about the forest, loving, laughing, learning the ways of the Druids. He remembers on night a shooting star passing overhead. He remembers all of the hundred years he's forgotten. That night he tracked down the falling star. That night he nimbly skittered into the crater to gaze upon the wonder from the heavens. That night when a slender form crawled out of the opalescent stone and buried itself in his flesh.He remembers wandering the forest devouring anything left to rot. Feeding, always hungry, so hungry. One night after feeding he hears some noise from a clearing. He stalks it, but something seems to relax in him. Something is finally sated. He walks out of the woods towards an unassuming half elf, bugbear, and orc.
