Obituary:

Shade grew up a quiet life, without much happening in his clan, mostly being taught by his father to be a hunter-gatherer and follow in his footsteps. The only thing remarkable about him was his quick wit and wonderful storytelling. It wasn't until Shade's uncle brought him a present on his 18th nameday, a viol from the human lands, that he felt special. When Shade began to learn to play, and came up with short poems to speak while playing, he discovered that his words and music held power. Quickly his uncle realized it for what it was, a magical power inside of him, and told him that he needed to find a bardic college in the human lands to study. This is where he heard the stories of an instrument just like his, used by an ancient hero long ago, and buried with him in his tomb; and this is where he finally gained that curiosity that Tabaxi are so known for, and decided to make it his life's quest to find this instrument and play it. Unfortunately this quest was cut short when he decided to jump into the ethereal plane to chase down a fleeing bad guy, and confront him alone. This bad guy ended up being quite a bit more powerful than he expected and knocked him out in one blow, and he bled to death before his friends could get to him.
