Epitaph:

Petrified by basilisk, shattered.

Obituary:

A red dragonborn, outcast from his family for his failings as a warrior, who found menial work as a clumsy copyist for the local Temple of Bahamut. After years of working and devotion, Plynic was given the task of copying an ancient holy text. 

Whilst copying, Plynic found what he believed to be a prophecy secretly encoded in the text, foretelling of a clumsy scribe who would become a great warrior for Bahamut. He brought his findings to the church's hierarchy, but they easily dismissed his claims, poking holes in the logic of his "coded prophecy." Told his he was seeing hidden codes where none exist. 

Not deterred by the harsh reality, that he was destined for nothing, Plynic left in the middle of the night with nothing but a small shield, a maul, and a copy of the text which contained his destiny. His delusions of a grand destiny led him to adventuring, and to his untimely death...
