Died saving fellow party members when a new member went berserk and transformed into a werewolf.

Obituary:

"Mr. Monk" aptly named by the party bard was a LG orphan, left on a monastery's doorstep. He spent most of his time traveling after coming of age. After spending a year or two out on his travels he returned home to find his monastery destroyed and his fellow monks nowhere to be seen. He left on another adventure in order to find who, or what, had been the cause of his temple's abrupt end. He wore a lion's mane as a scarf as a trophy from when he saved a farming town from one on his first adventure.
