Obituary:

Jack Smiles was a con artist diplomancer who was a mastermind rogue / bard, but mainly a rogue. Unfortunately the adventure he ended up participating in was one of a more dungeon-crawly nature, so he ended up being a massive dead weight to the party.

Somehow, by some incredible luck, he made it to level 6 before the party and Smiles sent went into another demiplane that belonged to some minor death deity, but one who was strong enough to have her own warlocks. Jack Smiles was the only one of the party who didn't make it back. Not because it wasn't possible, but because the party decided to not look into the matter that caused him to be unable to return through the planar portal.

So long, Jack Smiles. If you smile at the world, the world does not infact smile back!
