Abandoned in the Astral plane after suffering a psychotic break.

Obituary:

After learning truths that were not meant for mortal minds, Katrinah began hearing voices, telling her that those around her were searching to destroy her. These voices were correct, as she was betrayed and abandoned in the Underdark by her scholarly cloister. After a year of journeying, she finally made it to a city on the surface, only to be driven to insanity by a brush with the Astral Plane,  and being abandoned by her friends as they escaped.
