Obituary:

Hal was born into a noble and religious family, neither of which could describe him. Falling into a life of crime Hal began swindling his countryfolk for anything they had until the day he was caught. In a panic, mostly due to the soldiers, Hal began praying to every god he could thing, plus several he couldn't beginning for help. His prayers were answered by an anonymous party, in exchange for his immortal soul he was granted the means to escape. After fleeing his home land Hal went tavern to tavern bar to bar until he might 3 men and a goblin. He joined on as the resident "wizard" and good extraction expert were he continued to serve for several years. After the grind pressure of the several otherworldly minds living in his head and more than one case of poisoning Hal began to loss his grip on the world, only 2 things kept him grounded 1. His live of gold and 2. The knowledge that the trees would begin their uprising to free their sylven masters unless he kept them in check. That was until in one day Hal faced a shadowy otherworld, a demonic invasion and the golden undersea rain. His grounding during this is what ended up condemning his soul to his deep sea masters (except the chunk stored in a ring held by his best friend The Stone).
