RIP Ikassia Bracklin, the aarakocra bluejay monk.

She survived the final battle with 5 HP, then died when the party's sorcerer refused to long rest in the boss room. He instead triggered a trap that collapsed the ceiling and instantly killed Ika.

The party's Harper allies had found the last seed of the dying world tree, Yggdrassil, which could be consumed to resurrect Ika. Of course, the party decided instead to plant the seed in the same spot where they buried Ika's corpse: a fitting burial. The goddess Tymora sent a vision to our druid, depicting a small blue bird walking peacefully towards the largest, happiest-looking tree you've ever seen.

It was pretty fucking beautiful. As long as Yggdrasil is reborn, she'll never really die.
